Potential Billy Turner replacement for Packers: Yosh Nijman

Yosh Nijman filled in admirably at left tackle a year ago after Jenkins went down (who was filling in for David Bakhtiari). With Bakhtiari set to return and the long-term answer at left tackle, the Packers could look to move Nijman to the right side to give him the opportunity to start.

In 356 pass-blocking opportunities in 2021, Nijman only allowed three sacks. That experience was wonderful for him and he took positive strides as the season progressed.

It will be a big adjustment for him to slide over to the right side, but it’s an opportunity he deserves. By moving him to right tackle, Green Bay could keep Jenkins at left guard and try to field their best five men on the offensive line. In many ways, this battle will be between Nijman and whoever arises in the starting left guard battle behind Jenkins.
