The Green Bay Packers have a number of high-profile free agents they must make decisions on this offseason, including their downfield threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Valdes-Scantling gave Green Bay their only speed threat and helped spread defenses out deep. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s as good as gone considering his market value is just south of $9 million per year according to Spotrac. That makes it basically impossible for the Packers to re-sign him given their salary cap situation.

The Packers will likely look to the draft to add some speed, but if they find a way to dip their toes into the free agency pool, here are five blazing-fast wide receivers who should be signed at the minimum.

The Green Bay Packers are likely going to need to replace Marquez Valdes-Scantling and could turn to these blazing fast wide receivers in free agency.

Blazing-fast wide receivers for Packers: Alex Erickson

Wisconsin fans are familiar with Alex Erickson, as he played collegiate ball for the Badgers. Erickson only had three receptions for 55 yards for the Carolina Panthers last season, but could come in and compete for the final wide receiver position on the depth chart. He ran a 4.44 40-yard dash out of college and has the potential to provide a little extra speed for Green Bay’s offense.
