Packers’ free agent: Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Green Bay would love to have Marquez Valdes-Scantling back, especially since he has a bunch of raw talent that hasn’t quite materialized yet. He’s also their speedster and only downfield threat. Unfortunately, he’s looking at a big payday and could even get somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 million a year according to a recent article on nfl.com. That all but guarantees he’s gone.

Packers’ free agent: Equanimous St. Brown

Green Bay has a bunch of question marks at wide receiver and very little money to do anything with. Equanimous St. Brown has never produced and it’s unlikely Green Bay increases his pay to bring him back. They can easily find much cheaper options with the potential to provide more than the minimum that St. Brown did.
