Ranking 15 Packers free agents by likelihood they return
The Green Bay Packers have to start making money moves, and fast. With last week’s news that Aaron Rodgers is returning and the team is franchise tagging Davante Adams, they have until March 16th to get under the 2022 salary cap.
While we are awaiting the fury of cuts that are inevitably on their way, let’s take a look at the Packers’ massive free-agent class and rank them based on the likelihood they return. For this exercise, we will scale them from 0 to 1-. A 0 means there is absolutely no way the player returns next season, 5 means it’s a toss-up, and10 means they are a lock.
Without further ado, let’s preview 15 players of the Packers’ 2022 free agency class.

Packers’ free agent: Kevin King
It was a surprise that King returned last season, but we won’t be caught off guard twice in a row. If the Packers were going to bring him back, they would’ve done it earlier in the offseason when they could’ve saved money off the void years they used to sign him to a deal a year ago. The Packers have no need for King, who fell out of favor as the season went on.
