These two teams are considered long shots but have Super Bowl aspirations.

It is because one team does not have a first-round pick this season. The other team might not be motivated to make a trade even though it has a problem with its quarterback.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have the defense, the offensive line, and Jordan Taylor at running back. All they are missing is a quarterback to get them to the Super Bowl. Carson Wentz looked like he could be the quarterback to lead Indy there but he stumbled down the stretch. The Colts are now reportedly looking for another quarterback.

The problem for the Colts swinging a trade for Rodgers this offseason is the Colts lack a first-round pick in this year’s draft. It belongs to the Philadelphia Eagles as part of the trade the Colts used to get Wentz.

The Green Bay Packers would probably be less inclined to trade Rodgers with no immediate first-round pick return. That is probably the main thing holding the Colts back from ever trading for Rodgers if he is available.

Arizona Cardinals

The only reason this is being suggested is there are reports that Kyler Murray and the Cardinals are frustrated with each other. The Packers and Cardinals could swap quarterbacks and some draft picks to solve their problems.

The Packers get a young dynamic quarterback who is proven in the NFL and the Cardinals get a quarterback that could help them finish strong down the stretch. Again, the chances of this happening are a long shot, much like it is looking it will be a long shot the Packers trade Rodgers.
