Most likely landing spots for De’Vondre Campbell: New England Patriots

The most likely landing spot for Campbell is the New England Patriots.

PFF predicts he’ll receive a two-year contract worth $9 million annually which fits in perfectly with what New England has to work with. As the offseason begins, the Patriots only have about $10 million in cap space, but they’ll surely move some of that around to create a bit more room.

New England could be losing linebackers Dont’a Hightower and Ja’Whaun Bentley, and Campbell would slide in nicely as a replacement. He’d give them a younger option and someone who appears to be at the top of his game instead of having his best years behind him. With the Patriots getting back to the playoffs, this is a signing that could help push them to the next level on defense.
