The Green Bay Packers found a diamond in the rough when they signed De’Vondre Campbell to a one-year free agent deal last summer.

Campbell was an addition that wasn’t made until late in the offseason and it worked out beautifully for both sides. Although Campbell didn’t get paid nearly his worth–just $2 million in 2021–he did increase his value significantly. He was an All-Pro that racked up 146 tackles, five passes defended, two interceptions and two sacks.

It’s unlikely Green Bay is able to re-sign him considering the issues they have with their salary cap, and that means it’s likely he’ll find a new home and these are the three most likely landing spots.

With the future of Green Bay Packers’ inside linebacker De’Vondre Campbell up in the air, let’s take a look at the three most likely landing spots for him.

Most likely landing spots for De’Vondre Campbell: Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have a boatload of cap space they can use this offseason and it’s likely they’ll look at improving their defense. Head coach Dan Campbell is a defensive-minded guy that would love someone like Campbell who can excel against both the run and the pass. Campbell has also been very durable throughout his career which would further attract him to a tough-minded team like the Lions.
