Packers who could have contract restructured: Kenny Clark

Kenny Clark has been a beast along the defensive line and, somehow, continues to remain underrated in the NFL. Green Bay has relied heavily upon him to hold down the fort as the only consistently adequate lineman on the team over the last few years. Despite plenty of attention from opposing offensive linemen, he wreaks havoc almost every week.

Clark has a massive $20.87 million cap hit in 2022 that Green Bay will almost certainly want to reduce. They could save a whopping $9.5 million thanks to a contract restructure that would come out to 13.6 percent of the total amount they need to save. That’s a massive number that both sides could benefit from. The only downside is a restructure of this year bumps up his future numbers (as is true with all restructures).
