Green Bay Packers Offense

Quarterback: Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love, Kurt Benkert, and Danny Etling

This position looks set, but obviously, a lot can change depending on what Aaron Rodgers decides to do this offseason. If he stays, perhaps Green Bay looks to trade Jordan Love, but my guess is that they keep him for a third season. If Rodgers ends up elsewhere, Green Bay may look to bring in a veteran backup.

Running Back: Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Kylin Hill, and Patrick Taylor

This is the most stable position on the entire roster. In all likelihood, the Packers will add another running back or two to get through training camp and the preseason, especially with Kylin Hill still returning from injury, but this group once again is likely going to be Green Bay’s top-4 running backs in 2022.

Wide Receiver: Randall Cobb, Amari Rodgers, Juwann Winfree, Chris Blair, and Rico Gafford

Randall Cobb could end up as a cap casualty, and I would venture to guess that some combination of Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be back. However, at the moment, the receiver room is pretty bare. We all know that many mock drafts have the Packers taking a receiver in the first round most years — and of course, Green Bay does not — but if they are actually going to go that route, you have to think this is the year.

Tight End: Marcedes Lewis, Tyler Davis, Alize Mack, and Josiah Deguara

Marcedes Lewis could choose to retire; again, we don’t know what his future holds, but assuming he’s back, this is a strong group of blocking tight ends. However, what’s missing, is that the Green Bay Packers need a true pass-catching option. This offense really missed Robert Tonyan’s presence once he suffered his season-ending injury.

Offensive Line: David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers, Jon Runyan, Billy Turner, Royce Newman, Cole Van Lanen, and Michale Menet

In terms of putting out a quality starting five, the Green Bay Packers are in good shape here. Given their young depth along the interior, I do not believe that they will re-sign Lucas Patrick. But one thing to keep our eyes on is Billy Turner, who could potentially be cut for salary cap savings. If that’s the case, who becomes the new right tackle? Yosh Nijman or Elgton Jenkins, perhaps?
