Allen Robinson would be a good addition for the Green Bay Packers to keep the chains moving.

Robinson had one of the worst seasons in his career last season in Chicago. He had only 38 catches for 410 yards and one touchdown.

Part of his decline in production was he missed five games due to injury. The other part was he was not really used a lot in the Bears’ offense in 2021. He was targeted just 66 times with 11  of those targets coming in the Bears’ first game.

He had 399 targets In his first three seasons in Chicago before 2021. Robinson had 255 catches for 3,151 yards and 17 touchdowns from 2017-2020.

Robinson’s poor season is also partially because he had a rookie quarterback throwing him the ball. The other part is former Bears head coach Matt Nagy–whether on purpose or not–decided to feature other receivers in his the game plans.

Despite the drop in production, Pro Football Focus has him as the tenth-best free agent available.

He would be the perfect fit to compliment Adams. Plus, his large catch radius and ability to make drive-extending catches provides Rodgers with a trusted target to look for on third down.

Rodgers kryptonite is targeting Adams too much so having another proven, reliable target like Robinson can maybe erase that weakness.

Robinson will probably not come cheap. If he is the missing piece on the offense that finally brings a Super Bowl, it would worth paying the price.
