Packers free agents they won’t re-sign: De’Vondre Campbell

De’Vondre Campbell is another wonderful success story for the Packers’ defense from last season. He was signed in the middle of the summer after failing to secure an opportunity with another team. However, he earned the starting inside linebacker job over Krys Barnes and never gave it back.

Campbell flew all over the field and was terrific against both the run and the pass. His speed was evident on every snap and his tackling was very solid. Packers’ fans hadn’t seen that type of play from the inside linebacker position in years.

Now, Campbell heads back to the free agent market with an All-Pro selection under his belt. That should help him attract more suitors, driving his price tag further out of the Packers’ range.
