Players Packers can cut to save salary cap space: Randall Cobb

This move would be hard for general manager Aaron Rodgers to swallow. He helped get Randall Cobb back to Green Bay last summer, but it will probably be too good of a deal for the Packers’ front office to pass up.

Cobb only had 28 receptions for 375 yards (both the second-lowest of his career) in 12 games this season. However, he showed great chemistry with Rodgers both in the red zone (he had five touchdowns on the year) and on third downs. It would presumably be hard to convince Rodgers to return next season and then cut the one guy he wanted the front office to trade for last season. However, there might not be any other way around it.
