Packers who may have played their final snap for Green Bay: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is under contract for one more season in Green Bay with a massive cap hit of $46.8 million. That’s part of their financial woes and they’ll have to have a conversation on some level with their MVP.

Whether Rodgers wants to continue playing is apparently up in the air. He talked about potentially retiring as an option so that’s the first decision that must be made.

If he does come back, he said he’s not interested in a rebuild. He could help Green Bay save a lot of money by restructuring his contract or he could go the other route and demand a trade. He’ll likely command a huge return for Green Bay that could jumpstart their rebuild if a trade does happen. We’ll be rooting for him to return to Titletown to finish his career.
