Packers who may have played their final snap for Green Bay: Offensive Free Agents
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Robert Tonyan, Dennis Kelly, Lucas Patrick
It was disappointing Marquez Valdes-Scantling wasn’t able to go for the postseason. The speed he brings to this team is second to none and opens up a lot for his teammates. It will be interesting to see what kind of contract he receives, as his best football is likely ahead of him.
Robert Tonyan lost himself a lot of money when he suffered that torn ACL earlier in the year. There’s the potential he could come back on a one-year prove-it deal, but we’ll see how his recovery is going first.
Dennis Kelly and Lucas Patrick have proven they can fill larger roles along the offensive line. Kelly isn’t a preferred starter for Green Bay and struggled being on the bench this season. Patrick may have earned a full-time starting gig, but the Packers will also give rookie Royce Newman another chance in year 2.
