Reasons Packers will beat 49ers in Playoffs: 49ers special teams suck too

The Packers’ struggles on special teams have been well-documented this season, as they’ve struggled in just about every phase. They recently came in dead last in Sports Illustrated’s special teams ranking as well.

The good news is the 49ers also suck in this phase and were ranked 25th in the same ranking.

The Packers have shown signs of putting it together with Mason Crosby finding his groove recently and the return of Randall Cobb in the return game. They don’t have to do anything special in this phase, they simply have to not lose the game here. That seems very doable against a crappy 49ers special teams unit as well.
