The Green Bay Packers have a tough matchup ahead of them when they host the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field on Saturday night. Thankfully, they have the edge going into the contest.

Green Bay already beat the 49ers earlier in the season in a game that wasn’t nearly as close as the score made it seem nor that it should’ve been. The Packers will look to duplicate the success they had early in that contest and apply it to the entire game this time around.

Here are three reasons why the Packers should be able to dispose of the 49ers on Saturday and move onto the NFC Championship Game (again).

The Green Bay Packers will come out of their Divisional Round playoff matchup with the San Francisco 49ers victorious due to these three reasons.

Reasons Packers will beat 49ers in Playoffs: Getting Healthy at the Right Time

The Packers have had an influx of players return from injured reserve and at just the right time. Guys like Za’Darius Smith, Whitney Mercilus, Billy Turner, and Josh Myers are all returning while David Bakhtiari and Jaire Alexander are questionable.

Even if Bakhtiari and Alexander sit out, the Packers’ depth is getting a huge boost with the return of four key players. That will be huge against a 49ers team that is physical at the line of scrimmage and will look to impose their will early and often.
