8 most important Packers returning from injury for playoffs
As the Green Bay Packers are preparing for their Divisional Round playoff matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, they are also preparing for an influx of talent to return from injuries.
The Packers were one of the most injured teams in the NFL this season, but that injury luck seems to be going their way this time around. It’s still unclear exactly who will be returning and how much they’ll be able to contribute on the football field–the first injury report with designations is to be released on Thursday–but let’s rank the eight most important players who have a chance to return.
Let’s take a moment to rank the eight most important members of the Green Bay Packers who should be returning for the playoffs.
Most important Packers returning from injury: Ty Summers
There’s absolutely no chance Ty Summers sees the field on defense where he’s been a disaster throughout his three-year career. However, he would be a nice addition to the special teams’ units. He’s played on all of the different units (minus the field goal operation) and has six tackles in nine tries this season. He’s been out since Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens and still needs to be activated from the injured reserve to play on Saturday.
