Milwaukee Bucks Centers

Bobby Portis

Bobby Portis is a national treasure y’all. Good old crazy eyes, who is coming off of his most efficient and arguably best year of his career, took a pay cut to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks and has outdone his production from last season.

In his starting role, he’s getting it done on the glass more than any time in his career, averaging 9.3 rebounds per game. This also includes 2.8 offensive rebounds per game, which is first on the team and 14th in the entire league.

He’s also increased his scoring production to a career-high 15.3 points per game. While his usage has gone up, he’s stayed incredibly efficient, shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 42.8 percent from three.

Whatever the team needs, he’s there to provide it. Rebounding, scoring, energy, fun, and a little shimmy celebration, he does it all and is on one of the most team-friendly contracts in the league because he loves being in Milwaukee.

Overall Season Grade: A+

Brook Lopez

Brook was a solid part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ big opening night victory over the Nets, but he hasn’t played since because of his back injury, and it’s unclear when he’ll return.

It’s clear the team misses him, needing to play big men from the end of the bench and bringing in Cousins to fill the void he left. In his 14th season, Splash Mountain still has plenty left to offer this team when he is able to come back, and hopefully, he’ll be able to be part of another playoff run this year.

Unfortunately, one game really isn’t enough to grade him, but here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for the biggest Disney fan in the NBA.
