Packers with most to lose in playoffs: Marquez Valdes-Scantling

With Davante Adams’ next contract guaranteed to be a monster deal, there are still players trying to get paid in the offseason–including Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

I thought Valdes-Scantling was going to have a monster season, but that hasn’t quite come to fruition. He’s now dealing with a back injury that could cost him time in the playoffs. However, if he’s able to return, he’ll be a big part of Green Bay’s offense. As their only consistent deep threat, he can create plenty of opportunities for himself and others in the passing game. A couple of big games will more than redeem his value on the open market and allow him to seek a multi-year deal worth big money in the offseason.
