Packers with most to lose in playoffs: Kevin King

Sticking with cornerbacks, Kevin King has likely lost himself a lot of money this season and that downslide could continue in the playoffs.

He signed a one-year prove-it deal with Green Bay last offseason and it’s blown up in his face. He’s set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason and will have a difficult time getting a contract he likes.

King was passed up by Rasul Douglas and first-round pick Eric Stokes on the depth chart this year. The Packers even tried him in the slot and as their third safety at different points, but he’s struggled with all of it. With Alexander likely returning, the opportunities for King will be far and few inbetween this postseason.
