Bold predictions for Packers-49ers: Allen Lazard scores a touchdown

The Packers have plenty of weapons for Aaron Rodgers to spread the ball around to. That list includes Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Davante Adams and the (hopeful) return of Randall Cobb. However, Allen Lazard has been playing some of his best football recently.

Lazard is such a critical component to the Packers’ run game that is can sometimes be easy to overlook the contributions he makes in the passing game as well. He finished the season with 40 receptions for 513 yards and a whopping eight touchdowns–all career-highs. He’s been on a tear since the team’s Week 13 bye week–posting at least 45 receiving yards and a touchdown in four of the five games. That streak will continue, as he’ll grab at least one touchdown catch in the Divisional round as well.
