After what felt like an extremely long week, we finally know who the Green Bay Packers are going to play in the Divisional round of the playoffs: The San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers upset the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and will now travel to Lambeau Field for a Saturday night game. Although there are good reasons for the Packers to be worried about a matchup with San Fran, Green Bay is favored heading into the game and should be able to take care of business.

As we look ahead to next weekend, here are five bold predictions about what we’ll see in this pivotal matchup.

Bold predictions for Packers-49ers: Packers play well on special teams

The Packers have sucked on special teams all season long, but there are reasons to think they could at least be adequate in the playoffs. For starters, the 49ers are also bad on special teams which should provide some relief to Packers’ fans everywhere. However, Green Bay has slowly been adding players to their active roster who can make a difference in this critical third phase of the game. I’m not saying their special teams will return a punt for a touchdown or anything crazy like that, but they won’t be a complete liability like they’ve been for large parts of the season.
