Green Bay Packers Under the Radar Playoff Playmaker: Henry Black

Henry Black is not on this list for any possible contribution he’ll make on defense. Sure he could luck into an interception like he did earlier this season in the Cardinals game, but this is more about his possible contributions on special teams.

This year, Black was the Green Bay Packers’ leader in special teams tackles with 11. This also tied him for 16th in the league. Special teams is the phase of the game when we all collectively hold our breath. Big returns that flip the entire momentum of the game simply can’t happen in the playoffs, and Black will be a big factor in trying to prevent that.

He’s also always had the reputation of being a very physical and hard-hitting guy. He forced two fumbles in college and has forced one in both of his NFL seasons in very limited playing time. He seems to have a nose for the ball in that respect, and a forced fumble to flip the script on special teams could be exactly what this team needs when the game is close in the fourth quarter of a playoff game.

So what do you think of these four potential under-the-radar impact players? Do you think any of them could come up with the huge play that propels the Green Bay Packers to a fifth Lombardi Trophy? Let me know in the comments below.
