Most important Packers for Super Bowl Run: Preston Smith

Preston Smith has had a resurgent season for the Packers this year. After having a down 2020 campaign that led to many discussions about him being a cut-candidate over the summer, he’s responded nicely after taking a pay cut.

Smith has been solid against both the run and the pass this season. His 9 sacks through 16 games is the second-most of his career–behind the 12 sacks he put up in his first season in Green Bay. Green Bay will need a vicious pass-rush to keep some of the best offenses off-guard and Smith will have a big role to play.
