Most important Packers for Super Bowl Run: Dean Lowry

The Packers have had their fair share of struggles in the running game over the past several years and a lot of that starts with the big guys up front.

Kenny Clark can’t do it all by himself and Green Bay would benefit big time from one of their other defensive lineman stepping up. The most likely guy, or at least the guy who has gotten the most playing time this season, is Dean Lowry.

Lowry has played the second-most run snaps of any lineman–behind Clark–and is often used on running downs. He’ll be asked to come up big and limit the number of positive plays opposing offense can make in that department. It will do wonders if he can help keep offenses behind the sticks and in distance situations.
