It’s finally that time of the year again–the postseason is here! With the Green Bay Packers being eliminated in the NFC Championship in consecutive years, the offseason and regular season can feel excruciatingly long. Well, we’ve survived and are about to start the most important part of the journey.

The Packers have persevered through a lot of turmoil–from offseason Aaron Rodgers’ drama to battling significant injuries and covid–to secure a first-round bye for the third straight year. As they look to get over the hump this time around, let’s rank the 17 most important players for a 2022 Super Bowl run.

If the Green Bay Packers want to return to the Super Bowl, they’ll depend on the most on these 17 players to get the job done.

Most important Packers for Super Bowl Run: Allen Lazard

Allen Lazard isn’t your typical wide receiver. At 6-foot-5 and 227 pounds, he’s often used as an in-line blocker on inside runs as much as he’s used as a pass-catcher in the passing game. That makes his importance sky-rocket for a team that loves to implement balance into their offensive attack.

Lazard might not get as many direct opportunities as other playmakers on the Packers, but he will have the chance to make an impact in both facets. If he can come up with some big blocks as well as timely receptions, it will go a long way in helping this offense reach its full potential in the playoffs.
