Will David Bakhtiari play for the Green Bay Packers?

A question that every Green Bay Packers fan has asked this season, when will David Bakhtiari play?

Well, we appear to be nearing that point. Bakhtiari was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice; he was intentionally held out of Thursday’s to do conditioning. Then for the first time since his knee injury took place, Bakhtiari was a full participant in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday.

"“We’ll see how he comes in tomorrow and see how he’s feeling before we commit to that, whether or not he’s playing,” said head coach Matt LaFleur on Friday via Packer Report."

Is it completely necessary that Bakhtiari get a few snaps under his belt before the playoffs? Probably not; he is a former All-Pro and one of the best left tackles in football, after all. However, it would certainly be helpful when it comes to shaking off the rust.

"“He’s coming off of a big injury, so we just want to make sure everything’s 100 percent or as close as it can be to 100 percent before we put him out there,” said LaFleur via Packer Report."

Regardless of whether or not Bakhtiari plays this week or not, this is a very good sign for his availability in the playoffs.

In addition to Bakhtiari possibly being back, LaFleur has already mentioned that Josh Myers will suit up against Detroit, and Billy Turner was back at practice doing individual work as well. Although there have been numerous injuries and movement along the offensive line this season, there is the real possibility that Green Bay could have four of their five preferred starters available for the playoffs.
