Observations from Packers victory over Vikings: Aaron Rodgers MVP should be locked up
With Rodgers unlikely to play–or unlikely to play a lot–in the season finale against the Lions, the MVP race should be over. Rodgers should win his fourth MVP after a terrific performance this season.
In 15 games, he’s completed 68.6 percent of his passes for 3977 yards, 38 total touchdowns and just four interceptions. That’s impressive considering he’s playing behind four backup offensive linemen and has been without various weapons at different points in the season.
Rodgers has completely adapted his game under LaFleur and they both deserve a tremendous amount of credit. Other than the Super Bowl, however, the MVP award is the next best way to give him that credit he deserves.
