Observations from Packers victory over Vikings: Kicking game on track

Speaking of special teams, the kicking game may have turned a corner as well. Mason Crosby had been on a historic run before this season, but the entire operation has sucked this year.

Crosby has missed kicks he definitely should’ve made, but there are others to blame as well. They’ve been a mess upfront with everybody from their long-snapper to the protection struggling. Corey Bojorquez–the holder–has also had a few bad holds.

However, Crosby went 4-for-4 on extra points and 3-for-3 on field goals on Sunday Night. There was one small issue on one hold, but otherwise, the entire operation was smooth. Over his last four games, Crosby has made all 17 extra-point attempts and 6 field goals. That’s a start.
