Bold predictions for Packers: Sign Jaire Alexander to contract extension

The Packers can also open up a lot of money on their books by signing Jaire Alexander to a contract extension. He has a $13.3 million cap hold that can be adjusted thanks to a nice fat contract.

Alexander has missed most of this season, but appears close to returning to the field. He’s been practicing for three weeks and was activated to the roster earlier this week. When he comes back, the Packers will be getting one of the best cornerbacks in the game. Alexander can do it all and has his best football ahead of him. Re-signing him is a no-brainer.
