Packers who have chance at returning from injury: Jaire Alexander

Jaire Alexander appears to be the closest player to returning on this list. He was activated off the IR three weeks ago and elevated to the active roster on Wednesday. The injury report will come out on Friday and we’ll see what he’s listed as, but the good news is he hasn’t been ruled out yet.

Alexander’s role upon his return will be interesting to watch. He’s clearly the team’s best outside cornerback, but Rasul Douglas and Eric Stokes have played well on the outside this season. The Packers’ biggest weakness as a team is in their slot with Chandon Sullivan continuing to struggle.

If Alexander makes a sacrifice for the team and moves inside–a move he’s best suited for among the three–that could be a game-changer for the Packers to get their three best cornerbacks on the field at the same time.
