Packers who have chance at returning from injury: Josh Myers

One of those offensive linemen the Packers are missing is rookie starting center Josh Myers. Myers was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 62nd overall pick and immediately assumed starting duties for Green Bay (who just lost Corey Linsley to free agency).

Myers was a great communicator on the line, even if he had typical rookie struggles with protection and blocking. However, he’s their best option upfront and Green Bay would love to have him back.

LaFleur said at the beginning of December that Myers needed more time before being activated off the injured reserve list and we haven’t heard an update since. He’s been out with a knee injury since October and had surgery on it in November. With two games left in the regular season, time will tell if he’ll be able to return.
