Bold prediction for Davante Adams contract extension with Packers: 2. PFF’s prediction

PFF recently released an article detailing eight players who could come to contract extensions before the season ends. And your boy was on that list.

In that article, they predicted Adams receives a four-year, $93 million deal with $52 million in guaranteed money. That extension comes out to $23.25 million per year.

They came to that number by comparing it to the deals Julio Jones (3 years for $66 million) and DeAndre Hopkins (2 for $54.5 million) just received. Obviously, Adams is on a different level than either of those two players which is why he got a couple of extra years added on. If the two sides can work past Adams wanting to be the highest-paid receiver on a yearly basis (a number that’s skewed by Hopkins) then they should be able to come to an agreement.
