With the Green Bay Packers’ destiny for the top seed in the NFC playoffs and a first-round playoff bye in their hands, they begin their journey with a road game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens are coming off back-to-back losses and currently sit with an 8-5 record. That’s good enough for first place in the AFC North by just one game over the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns (each at 7-6) with the 6-6-1 Pittsburgh Steelers not far behind either.

Meanwhile, Green Bay can clinch the NFC North with a victory on Sunday and the playoff spot that comes with it. Before the game kicks off, let’s ask seven burning questions that will directly impact the outcome of this contest.

Here are seven burning questions for the Green Bay Packers heading into their Week 15 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Burning question for Packers: How much will safety Shawn Davis play?

The Packers have two very good starting safeties in Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage. They are one of the best duos in the NFL and are a very versatile pair that allows the defense to do a lot of different things.

Unfortunately, they haven’t been able to find a quality third safety. Henry Black has been exposed in recent weeks and opponents are finding a way to target him in the passing game. The Packers just promoted safety Shawn Davis from the practice squad and it will be interesting to see what role he plays. Davis will likely be a contributor on special teams, but will they also call his number on defense?
