How Aaron Rodgers can win MVP: Close gap on touchdown passes

As it stands right now, Brady has a sizeable lead when it comes to touchdowns (38-30) and it’s important Rodgers closes that gap down the stretch. The good news is Rodgers has been hot over his last three games, accounting for 11 total touchdowns during that span. He’ll need more of that and then some to close the season.

The Packers face the Baltimore Ravens this week who will be without stud cornerback Marlon Humphrey. The Raven’s pass defense struggled even with him in so Green Bay should be able to exploit them. The Packers then face the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. Overall, that’s a favorable schedule for Rodgers to go bonkers and finish strong.

The other part of the equation will be Brady. Green Bay needs him to slow down a bit, as he’s coming off a couple of strong performances on his own end. They finish their season against the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, and Panthers again. That’s a very soft schedule that should also be conducive to Brady finishing strong.
