Despite all of the offseason drama, the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers have positioned themselves nicely with just four games remaining in the 2021 NFL season. After a somewhat slow start, Rodgers has an opportunity to win his fourth MVP award and go back-to-back for the first time in his career.

It appears the MVP race is down to two candidates in Rodgers and Tom Brady. Brady is the betting favorite at this point and the award appears to be his to lose. Here’s how they compare so far this season:

  • Brady: 4,134 passing yards, 38 total TDs, 10 INTs, 67.7 QBR in 13 games
  • Rodgers: 3,219 passing yards, 30 total TDs, 4 INTs, 64.9 QBR in 12 games

Considering there’s still a quarter of the season remaining, if these four things can happen Rodgers will have a good chance to win MVP again.

If Green Bay Packers’ star quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to win his fourth MVP and go back-to-back, these four things must happen.

How Aaron Rodgers can win MVP: Stay turnover-free

One of Rodgers’ greatest accomplishments throughout his career is his ability to protect the football. He only has four interceptions this season with two of them coming in the season-opener. He has a significant edge over Brady (10 interceptions) in this category and can expand his lead if he can continue to stay turnover-free down the stretch.
