Fact or fiction: Larry Nance Jr.

The Portland Trail Blazers just fired their president and there’s no saying what their next moves are. Although there are rumors they are eying a potential Ben Simmons trade, they could also shake up the rest of their roster, including Larry Nance Jr. Nance’s salary is a tripping point at $10.7 million and he’s a bit undersized for his position. However, his athleticism and motor are intriguing and would fit in well in Milwaukee. Still, a deal would be difficult to pull off.

Verdict: Fiction

Fact or fiction: Mason Plumlee

If the Charlotte Hornets fall out of playoff contention this season, don’t be surprised to see Mason Plumlee become available on the trade market. The big man is a solid pick-and-roll player as well as a rebounder on the defensive boards. Still, he’s probably too expensive ($9.2 million) for what they’re looking for.

Fact or fiction: Steven Adams

He’s making $17.1 million this season which makes a trade nearly impossible unless Brook Lopez is included. That’s not going to happen so we might as well move on.

Verdict: Fiction

Fact or fiction: Serge Ibaka

Serge Ibaka is an intriguing candidate if the Clippers are ever looking to move him. He’s mostly a pick-and-pop guy who is streaky as hell but has some outside shooting capability. He’s also pretty good on defense and gives the Bucks a lot of what they’re looking for on that end of the court. His $9.7 million salary this year would be the biggest barrier.

Verdict: Maybe?
