Packers’ unsung heroes: De’Vondre Campbell
Okay, so De’Vondre Campbell might not be an unsung hero at this point considering all of the praise he’s received this season.
Still, he’s worth mentioning in the column based on his preseason expectations and how far he’s come. His PFF grade sits at 81.2 which is second among 84 qualified inside linebackers. Although that’s slipped a bit in recent weeks, Campbell continues to have a positive impact on this defense.

He attacks with ruthless aggression in the run game and isn’t afraid to fill holes and make stops in the backfield. He’s also able to cover sideline to sideline when there are outside runs or if he’s asked to cover someone in the passing game. He’s not an elite athlete, but certainly better than anything Green Bay has had recently.
