Packers’ unsung heroes: Adrian Amos

Being underrated is nothing new for safety Adrian Amos. That’s been the story of his career and even included his past team–the Chicago Bears–when they let him walk in free agency and elected to sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix instead.

Amos doesn’t make many flashy plays–unless it’s stopping the Rams on fourth down–but he’s always in the right spot. He played excellent ball down the stretch of the 2020 campaign and is on track to do so once against this year. His 76.4 PFF grade quietly ranks 14th among 91 eligible safeties. He opens a lot of doors for other Packers’ defenders and should get recognition as one of the better safeties in the NFL.
