Packers’ unsung heroes: Krys Barnes

The first of two inside linebackers on this list (spoiler alert), Krys Barnes has responded positively after losing his starting spot in the offseason. A year ago he was the main guy with Kamal Martin playing second fiddle. However, he’s been demoted following a certain offseason signing, but has responded positively.

Barnes has picked it up in recent games and is coming off his best contest of the season against the Los Angeles Rams. He’s been able to play freer and appears to be flying around the field making plays. He still has work to do in the passing game and when solidifying his tackling, but he’s had a positive outing to start the season.
