Packers in final year of contract: Robert Tonyan

Following a breakout 2021 season that saw Robert Tonyan rack up 52 receptions for 586 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was a big athletic target for Aaron Rodgers over the middle and was a huge red zone threat the team utilized often.

He got off to a very slow start to the 2022 season before picking it up a bit. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending (and possibly career-altering) injury in Week 8.

Before he went down, he was in line for a huge contract extension that probably would’ve taken him out of town. When you combine his slow start with the injury, it means he could return to Green Bay on a one-year prove-it deal next season.
