Packers in final year of contract: Marquez Valdes-Scantling
I was a big supporter of Marquez Valdes-Scantling this offseason and predicted a breakout season for him 2021. Unfortunately, injuries slowed him down and he wasn’t able to get off to the start he wanted.
In seven games this year, he’s caught 17 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. However, he’s really come on the last three games, posting at least 41 receiving yards in each of them and overall racking up 9 receptions for 214 yards and two touchdowns. He’s going to want a massive raise next offseason and it will be well-deserved.
