Oso Ighodaro is developing into a good player for Marquette Basketball /

Starting center Kur Kuath picked up two early fouls. Ighodaro came in off the bench and provided 11 points in the first half.

Ighodaro is developing nicely after barely playing at all last season because of injury and a lot of “DNP-Coaches Decision.”

The big man had his first career double-double in Marquette’s previous game with a career-high 14 points and almost topped his career-high in rebounds with 11.

He logged his most minutes so far against Wisconsin with 27. He was outstanding at finding open spots near the rim to be ready to throw down a jam when point guard Tyler Kolek would penetrate and dish to Oso.

He also had a beautiful six-foot floater find the bottom of the net.

Oso is averaging 10.6 points and 6.3 rebounds over his last three games. He is just getting better and better every time he steps on the court.

The only critique was Oso failed to score a point in the second half. He was brilliant in the first half and helped keep the Marquette Golden Eagles in the game going into the locker room.
