Non-tendered free agents Brewers should pursue: José Rondón, shortstop

The Brewers could use a bit more depth on the left side of the infield behind Luis Urias and Willy Adames, and Jose Rondon could be the perfect fit.

Rondon has experience at shortstop, second base, third base, first base, left field and right field–making him another versatile option for Milwaukee. He’s in the middle of his prime at 27-years-old and is coming off the best hitting season of his career where he hit .263 with a .322 on-base percentage.

If the Brewers are going to sign any of these players, we’ll have to wait a long while until they’re legally able to negotiate a contract. The owners seem content on playing hardball with the player’s union and riding this thing out. That’s unfortunate, but it’s a complaint for a different article.
