Weaknesses for Packers to address: Third down defense

Continuing in the category of situational defense is their third-down defense. Similar to the red zone, the Packers struggle mightily when getting opposing offenses in this situation. They’ve allowed opponents to convert on 43.7 percent of third downs–bad enough for 27th in the NFL.

This has made it difficult for them to get off the field and get the ball back into the hands of their dangerous offense. Defensive coordinator Joe Barry has to be scratching his head trying to figure out how to address this problem and he’ll have an extra week to find the solution.
