Weaknesses for Packers to address: Interior offensive line

The Packers have suffered a bevy of injuries to their offensive line this season that has touched players such as David Bakhtiari (yet to suit up this season), Elgton Jenkins (missed time earlier in the year and is now out for the season) and Josh Myers (rookie second round pick who became the starting center in training camp).

They’ve been able to shuffle guys around at other positions with Yosh Nijman most notably stepping up at left tackle. However, it’s their interior offensive line that has suffered the most. They lost Jenkins when he was forced to move outside and then lost Myers as well. That has left Jon Runyan Jr., Lucas Patrick, and Royce Newman to man the interior.

That’s a very young group (minus Patrick) and they’ve certainly experienced growing pains. They’ve had their struggles creating running lanes in the middle and have given up a number of pressures on passing plays. Hopefully, they can take this ample experience and turn it into results down the stretch.
