Packers big victory over Rams: The bad: Amari Rodgers, injuries, interior offensive line, Chadon Sullivan

Packers 2021 third-round pick Amari Rodgers continues to look like a bust. He hasn’t been able to get on the field offensively where he clearly sits at least fifth on the depth chart. He was given the punt-returning duties at the beginning of the season, but has struggled there as well. Although it was Randall Cobb who fumbled a punt in this game, Rodgers is often not close enough to even field punts and lets them bounce for days.

The injury bug continues to haunt the Packers this season. Rodgers was clearly limping against the Rams and his injury appears to have gotten worse since last week. He’ll rest it from now until their next game, but there’s no telling how it will respond after that. Cobb also went out with a groin injury after posting a monster first half. We’re still waiting to see how serious it is, but the early signs aren’t good.

Some of the lowest graded Packers in this game according to PFF were Jon Runyan Jr. (38.2), Lucas Patrick (43.4), Royce Newman (51.5)  and Chandon Sullivan (44.9). Part of the interior struggles are to be expected against Aaron Donald and the Rams’ front, but this isn’t anything new. As for Sullivan, teams continue to pick on him and he hasn’t been able to respond positively.
