Options to replace Packers’ Elgton Jenkins: Rick Wagner

Rick Wagner was with the Packers last year, but decided to retire over the offseason. However, he would also be a logical choice, as he’s familiar with Matt LaFleur’s offense and it wouldn’t take him long to onboard to the offense.

He primarily played right tackle with Green Bay so that would mean the Packers would have to move some players around. They could simply slide Billy Turner to left tackle in order to get their two best tackles on the field at the same time.

Another option they have is to put Wagner at right tackle, Nijman on the left side, and move Turner inside to help at either guard position. The Packers’ young guards have struggled this season and it could be nice to insert Turner in there to get some extra help.
