Players Brewers could reunite with in free agency: Eduardo Escobar

The next two guys on this list just finished the 2021 season in a Brewers’ uniform but it still counts as reuniting in my book.

Eduardo Escobar didn’t have the impact the Brewers were hoping for after acquiring him in a mid-season trade, but he was still solid. It’s possible Milwaukee is okay with Luis Urias as their everyday third baseman, but Escobar provides them with more offensive stability.

The switch hitter is above-average at the plate and can play three positions–something you know Counsell loves. He’s on the wrong side of 30, however, and Milwaukee could opt to go a younger route. If they do bring him back, it will likely be on a one or two year deal.
