Packers’ who have outperformed contract: De’Vondre Campbell

De’Vondre Campbell is the man of the hour and poster boy for outperforming your contract.

He agreed to a one-year deal with the Packers in the offseason sort of as a last resort. He was hoping to get more money and a longer deal, but agreed to Green Bay’s deal with the thought of making more in the long run. Well, it’s safe to say that bet is paying off.

Campbell has been one of the best Packers on either side of the ball this season. He flies around the field and can play sideline to sideline as well as make plays in the backfield. His 84.6 PFF grade is the highest-rated one for his position. Meanwhile, his $1.19 million cap hit ranks 41st among inside linebackers. Talk about value.
